For those of you new to "ordering on the web," the checkout process can sometimes be a bit scary. What follows is a step by step procedure, with each number corresponding to a screen that opens. It is actually a very easy process!
1. After you click "ORDER" on any of the product pages, you will see a page that shows the item and the item price. (There will also be a "remove" link with a check mark above it. You will only click on this link if you have multiple items in the shopping card and want to remove one of them.) If you have a promo code enter it in the box provided.
Select your method of payment, either Google Checkout, PayPal, or check/money order.
Click on "Check Out."
2. This page has you select a delivery method. U.S. residents will use the default method which is "Standard Delivery - USA." (If you live in Canada, "pull" the menu down and click on that setting.) You will also put your zip code (even if it is a set shipping charge).
Click "Continue."
3. This page asks for your contact information. You might find it reassuring that, even though all of the checkout pages are secured by SSL, you will not be asked for any personal financial information here. That information is only provided after you are redirected to Google Checkout or PayPal, at their sites.
Click "Place Order."
4. This page will show a summary of your order and contact information, and a button that will either (a) take you to the Google Checkout site (at Google), (b) take you to the PayPal site (at PayPal) or (c) take you to a page that shows the information you need for mailing a payment.
It's that easy!
