This pin is made of plastic (maybe celluloid) and has a longhorn cow head attached to a saddle with a strip of leather (so the head is moveable). The leather strip continues to the back of the saddle. The pin measures 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 inches and other than some discoloration of the leather is in excellent vintage condition. A similar piece is shown in Warman's Costume Jewelry Figurals on page 56, with the same saddle but with a hat instead of a longhorn.
