Theodore Fahrner, a highly collectible German designer, made superb and highly collectible jewelry from about 1855 to 1979, and this set is probably from the 1930s or 1940s. It is an exquisite set, in mint vintage condition, with many sparkling marcasites. The design uses a millegriff technique which Fahrner made quite famous. (This technique features tiny corded wires soldered onto the sterling.) The pin measures 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" and the earrings 1" x 3/4". All of the marcasites appear to be intact, and the set looks like it was very rarely worn. The brooch is marked with the Fahrner logo and "925," and both of the earrings are marked "Original Fahrner 925 " along with Fahrner logo (a T and F in a circle).

Fahrner sets are quite rare, so this is a great find, especially since it is in such wonderful condition!
