This thoroughly charming necklace has the cutest lion pendant, made of pewter and with an openwork pattern. It is quite large, measuring 3-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches, and the chain is 24-inches long. Pieces signed "Allen" frequently feature animals of this sort and have a chain exactly like this one, so I believe it was made by that designer. There are a couple of very minor age-related scratches in the pewter, but overall the necklace is in excellent vintage condition. This one is sure to elicit comments when you wear it!
