This cute laughing horse pin tests positive for Bakelite, but I think it is probably Catalin, overdyed. In any case it is a very loveable horse! It has a multi-color rhinestone collar and a green glass eye. The pin measures 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches. Considering it is from the 1930s or 1940s, it is in excellent vintage condition. On the collar, the fourth rhinestone from the bottom is a topaz, and looks fine "in person." Not sure why it faded out in the pic.
