This exquisite set features bezel set, genuine opal stones and articulated (hinged) joints that allow the links to perfectly follow the contour of the skin. Lots of fire and ice here! The front of the necklace has a geometric, Art Deco type of design, and each link in the bracelet has the merest hint of a curve. Each piece has a folding box safety clasp, unusual and very secure. Both pieces are marked "950" and "Mexico," making the metal finer than sterling silver (which is .925). The necklace is 17 inches long, with the largest front link being 9/16 inch wide, and the bracelet is 7 inches long and 3/16 inch wide. The woman I purchased this necklace from was the original buyer, and it has not been worn much at all. A truly gorgeous set, and perfect gift for that special person in your life.
