Stannard Donald Black Waves Clip Earrings Mint
These large (1-3/8 inch diameter) clip-on earrings are marked "Donald Stannard" and are in mint condition. Donald Stannard designed for Kenneth J. Lane (KJL) before going out on his own, and many of his items were made in the 1960s. He was a famous designer for Broadway shows such as Evita and Hello Dolly, and for tv programs such as Dynasty. Currently he only designs privately for selected individuals.
There is a copyright symbol on these earrings, so they were created after 1955. The earrings are black plastic and goldtone, and have a nice wavy pattern on them that extends from the black material onto the goldtone. (The green is just camera reflection.) Beautiful, elegant earrings!
Item is shipped in a gift box and protective bubble envelope.
