Japan had such artisans making jewelry in the 1960s, and this necklace shows that artistry. It has graduated beads that are light and dark lavender, white and brown. There are ornate end caps and small clear rondel beads. The shortest strand is 13 inches and the longest 18, plus there is a 3-inch extension. The bead holders are a goldtone metal feather shape. The matching earrings are clip-on style, with about a 7/8-inch diameter. There is some minor wear to some of the beads, but overall the set is in very good vintage condition.
