This necklace has such interesting beads, including crackle, fluted barrel, and some which are lacquered. It also has many faux pearls. The slide-in clasp also has a large lacquered cabochon which is claw set. The longer strand is 20 inches and the shorter one 18-1/2 inches, and the side of the clasp is marked "Japan." Some of the beads have some minor age-related wear, and there is just the slightest stretch in the cords (at some point the necklace could stand to be restrung, though it isn't really necessary now). Though vintage, this necklace has a contemporary look to it.
