This exquisite necklace from the early 1900s is an etched book chain with a nugget-style pendant. The necklace is rose gold over copper, and each panel, on both sides, is etched with a geometric, Art Deco pattern. The pendant is a nugget style ball with with superb detail -- it even has rosettes etched in the middle. This style of necklace has the clasp in front, and I had to replace a faulty jump-ring (but I will include the old one with the necklace when it is shipped). The chain is 18 inches long and the pendant, including the book links, is 2-1/4 inches. This necklace is so well made, and is in excellent condition (other than the jump-ring replacement). A real treasure.
