These earrings have such interesting variable shades of blue in them. The navettes range from light- to medium-blue, with almost an opal-like or moonstone appearance, and the round cabochons are light blue with an (inconsistent) dark blue at the bases. I'm not sure if this darkening of the cabs was part of the original design or if it is an effect of aging. From hardly any distance it looks to be part of the design, however. The cabs have an interesting prong design, with rounded tips. The earrings also have small blue chaton-cut rhinestones. The earrings measure 1 x 7/8 inch, and the back of the clips are marked "KRAMER."
