This sweater guard has a pearl strand between the clips and a goldtone disk with the Shriner symbol and "Daughters of the Nile" embossed on it. The clips have a stylized "S" on them, and the clips are marked "PAT. 2853761" (registered in 1958). Each pearl strand is 2-3/4 inches long, and the disk has a 15/16-inch diameter. There is a scratch on the goldtone disk, but otherwise the guard is in excellent condition, and I don't believe it has ever been used. The orginal box is made of plastic, and it is in excellent condition.
