This hand painted wood pendant is perhaps African, but I am not sure--maybe Hawaiian. It has great colors, including pink, green and yellow on both the attire and the head wrap. The necklace appears to be fairly old, and one side has some wear on the face. Both sides are painted, and the pictures show both sides. The pendant measures about 3" x 3" and the chain is 15 inches long, with a jump-ring clasp. The bail is an unusual hand-wired loop. Really an interesting necklace!
