I am not 100% certain of the composition of these lovely earrings. From the back, it looks like the green material is some sort of plastic (and it is quite a different shade of green than the front). The emerald-green cabochon is quite cold to the touch, and I believe it might be enameled. The earrings are relative heavy, and in very good vintage condition. They are a rich, deep emerald-green color, with a hint of "moonglow" in them, which you don't see in the pictures. The earrings measure 1 1/2" x 1", and the green cabochon is 18 mm x 13 mm.
