This long (42 inches) bead necklace was made by Avon, and is unusual in that it is made from wood beads. (I've not seen Avon use wood before I encountered this piece.) Most of the beads have been stained dark brown, and there are also off-white bicone round spacer beads. The largest round beads have a 3/4-inch diameter. The clasp tag is marked "Avon" on one side and "N.R." on the other, and it has a lobster clasp. I believe this is an older necklace, and there are some faint signs of wear, but overall it is in excellent vintage condition.
