I believe this apple-green bead brooch is a chatelaine brooch, and it is marked "Made in Austria." Some of the beads have lovely filigree bead caps, including two of the four beads that hang from the three chains below the main cluster. The distance from the top bead to the bottom chain is 5" and the main bead cluster has about a 1-1/2" diameter. The back of the brooch could stand some light cleaning, but otherwise the chatelaine is in excellent condition. (The back looks much worse in the picture than it looks "in person.") A rare, beautiful find!
