Antique Early 1900s Art Deco Compact Plat-Mex-SA
This terrific compact is marked Plat-Mex-SA, which according to Billie Hougart's book on silver marks was the mark for a studio in existence in the early 1900s. The compact has a few pits in the goldtone, but about what you would expect from its age. The inside looks new and like it was never used. A great collectible from the deco period.
