These classic glass Bergere button earrings have double goldtone ropes encircling the large (22 mm) what I believe is thermoset cabochons (though they almost seem to be glass). Overall, the earrings have about a 1 1/2 inch diameter. They are marked "bergere" on the back of the clips, and this is a style seen made by them in the 1950s. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition, and look like they have not been worn much.
