This unusual cameo is the same as that seen on page 176 of "Plastic Jewelry of the Twentieth Century" by Lillian Baker. The one in the book has the same Tenite cameo, but in a different setting. There are 4 rhinestones (one each at noon, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock), and what look like marcasites (though they may be steel) in each of the "flowers" in the setting. It may have at one time had a pendant loop on the back, but if so, the loop is no longer there. The brooch measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" and is in excellent vintage condition. Really an interesting cameo brooch!
