This bakelite bangle is just shy of 1-inch wide (15/16 inch to be exact) and is nice and clunky, like you expect a bakelite bangle to be. (It tested positive with Simichrome.) The bracelet has a few dings on it, and age-related scratches, but it isn't obvious unless you are looking closely at it. I also like the way it hugs the arm and doesn't want to slide down, as a "slicker" bracelet tends to do. It has a 2-1/2 inch inside diameter.
