These exquisite post style, filigree hoop earrings are marked "Van Lou" which was apparently a mark used by Louis Fleishmann (located in NY since 1949). The earrings are fine vermeil filigree with floral accents that stand out from the base, and have a 1-1/8 inch outside diameter. The back of each earring is marked "Van Lou Sterling," and they are in excellent vintage condition (they look much better than the pics show, without any wear on the plating). I haven't been able to find out any information on this designer, but these are certainly fine earrings!
