These incredible earrings have two black cabochons surrounded by sparkling crystals in a very Art Deco setting. (With a loupe, the crystals look like they may even be leaded crystal. The large cushion cut one in the middle looks hand carved) The bottom part of the earrings have small holes in the back that allow the light to come through. These earrings have an amazing amount of sparkle! The metal is slightly japanned, or blackened, which gives even more contrast with the clear crystals. The earrings measure 2-1/4" from the top and are 1" wide, and the bottom piece is "hinged" and able to swing, which again, leads to more sparkle! Very unusual, fabulous clip-on style earrings. Not signed, but definitely designer quality. They are in excellent condition, with firm clips. (The backs are the same shade of brown, and look like the one on the left in the third picture. The lighter color on the other one is just faulty camera person.)
